ABOUT US
Responsible Homes is a new private rental business set up by us, Mark & Melanie Barnett.
We have become frustrated with the lack of practical action being taken to resolve the housing crisis and believe that private landlords are not always the bad guys!
We want to demonstrate that it is possible to make a living as a landlord and provide good quality accommodation at an affordable rental.
We are going to be Responsible landlords for Responsible tenants!
Melanie Barnett
Previously Chief Executive of The Consortium , a successful Wiltshire business selling in to the education and care markets.
Loves gardening & being a full time parent.
She is also an active supporter of the Wiltshire Community Land Trust, Wiltshire Community Foundation and Home-Start Kennet.
Mark Barnett
Previously Chief Operating Officer of The Consortium and now a Trustee (and volunteer) of Doorway (Wiltshire) Ltd and Non-Executive Chairman of Aztech IT Ltd.
As well as being a full-time parent, Mark cycles long distances in his spare time and is an enthusiastic supporter of Bath Rugby and its charitable arm - Bath Rugby Foundation.
